Possibility of Waitlist Mediation

If you find the waiting time too long, you can contact the care mediation service of your health insurer. Your health insurer can check where you can be helped sooner and mediate on your behalf. Healthcare providers and health insurers have agreed upon acceptable waiting times in healthcare; this is known as the ‘Treeknorm’. The maximum acceptable waiting time for access to diagnostics is 4 weeks.
